This is the first week of real visible progress. The runners are spreading exponentially now, and a few areas are starting to show signs of filling in, as shown in this photo:

The weather is starting to warm up, so hopefully this will encourage more growth. I am still watering well, but starting to cut back just a llittle.
Carole, I was curious what part of town you are in as I'm in the University City area and I'm considering this grass as an option. I was also wondering if you found out if the grass will go dormant and turn brown in San Diego.
I am in Scripps Ranch. I won't know until next winter how brown the grass will turn. I only have a back yard, so I am not too worried if it turns a little brown. From what I have read, it will probably turn slightly, but not entirely brown. I would think that the closer you are to the coast, the less it will turn brown.
